Position: Accounting Business/Data Analyst
Location: 100% onsite in Corona, CA
Terms: 3+ months contract
Compensation: $50.00 to 60.00 per hour (W2 only)

Partnered with a client seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with strong accounting knowledge to support data-driven decision making, reporting, and business process improvements. develop impactful reporting solutions that drive business decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys transforming complex data into actionable insights through dashboards, reporting, and analysis.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to track key business and financial KPIs.
• Migrate dashboards from PowerBI to SQL. Write and optimize SQL complex queries to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting solutions.
• Build data models and visualizations that support business performance monitoring and decision-making.
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver meaningful insights from financial/accounting data.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Financial Analyst role.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query and DAX.
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data modeling.
• Experience working with ERP systems for data extraction, etc.
• Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of financial data.
